Captain Webb Primary, Telford

Our first day at Captain Webb Primary School, Telford. At the moment we can only put up the pickies… More detail to follow after our day with the staff tomorrow. They are doing some AMAZING stuff.

picture-14Talking of pics: How about thinking which of  your “snaps” you could contribute to the online, collaborative fotopedia.

Fotonauts, a desktop photo application that lets users upload, organize, share and tag their photos, has launched a preview version of its upcoming photo sharing site. They say the full service will be available in a few days but in the meantime users are encouraged to explore the site in currently read-only mode.

Fotopedia isn’t trying to be another Flickr; it is focusing more on the social aspect of photo sharing instead. Users will be able to create an album and upload photos from their computers but also add existing photos on Flickr or Picasa or Creative Commons pictures taken by others.

Another good way of searching for images too, of course. But, only if we keep adding to it I suppose! It isn’t live yet but could be a valuable tool and resource in the near future…
