Jam Studio
There are many different ways of getting students to be able to produce a quick and effective backing track for a song. Using loops in GarageBand for example.
JamStudio could be a handy way of making an accompaniment to everything, from a hastily prepared tribute song for a member of staff who is leaving, to something to replace that member of staff because they happened to be the only person who could play the guitar in assemblies!
It is very easy yet, within minutes, you can have a fully arranged band rehearsed up and playing your next hit!
St Andrew’s CEVA Primary School, Northampton
Today we are at St Andrew’s CEVA Primary School in Northampton, joined by colleauges from two neighbouring schools, Thorplands Primary School and Lumbertubs Primary School.
It is good to spend some time with folk looking at ways of using computers as a tool when inspiring and motivating children of all ages and abilities. We investigated the use of computer games as a stimulus but also, MANY other resources and methods.
As well as our events, we like to share interesting, and more often than not, FREE tools, resources and ideas, some old, some new, and we hope you might find something useful. We'd love your thoughts. Tim & Sarah
