Milton Infants School, Newport, South Wales

What a varied and wonderful week! Northumberland, Darlington Birmingham, Newport.

And, what a way to end the trip, with a day spent alongside colleagues and pupils at Milton Infants School, Newport, South Wales.

A visionary bunch of teachers! To do some of the things we covered today, with KS1 pupils, is powerful teaching, that has the development of their young students’ confidences at heart.

This a school that has been given seven outstanding grades by Estyn (Her Majesty’s Inspectorate for Education and Training in Wales), yet still strives to take things further.

We investigated everything, from some advanced web2.0 applications, through to African Safari on the Wii.

Well done to Emma, Katie, Sue, and all of their colleagues, for a superb way to end the week.
