Leeds Trinity- Broadgate Primary School, Horsforth

Snowed under with enthusiasm at Broadgate Primary School, Horsforth, with students and staff from Leeds Trinity University College.

Leeds Trinity were successful in bidding for TDA funds to support and enhance trainee teachers experience, knowledge and understanding of ICT.

This day was planned to enable trainees to observe us working with children, enable discussion and questions and give the trainees and their school partners opportunity to listen to, and learn about how ICT can enhance and inspire teaching and learning.

The whole day was designed to bring together children, future teachers and those who work with the students from Leeds Trinity.

We are grateful for Broadgate Primary School, enthusiastically embracing the day …and for digging us out of the snow!

Sadly, we had to abandon most of the day, in a flurry of activity, as parents came to rescue the children from some deep snow drifts.

Thank you to Graham Jarvis, Associate Principal Lecturer in Education, and ICT Co-ordinator, at Leeds Trinity University College, for organising today, and for his warm sense of humour, which kept us all going through some challenging landscapes.

We are really looking forward to a return trip to finish off our explorations.
