eTwinning Camp 2011 – Budapest: Switchzoo + Camelephantelopelicanaries!

Wow! What a way to end the first day here in Budapest and the eTwinning Conference and Camp. Over 100 weary travellers voyaged with us into the world of fantasy creatures. In groups who had never met each other before and didn’t speak the same language, they made a Camelephantelopelicanary or other fantasy animal, in an analogue buzz of brilliance.

Tired, but up for it, these students were. I whizzed through a few digital things including some of our Wild Earth African Safari and Wii experiences, and many other sites. (More to follow at the conference tomorrow). Continue Reading

eTwinning Camp 2011 – Budapest, Hungary: Face IT!

Here at the eTwinning conference in Budapest, and doing a really fun session with around 90 students from all over Europe. We looked at strange and wonderful creatures today, but also at how weird and wonderful the human being is. Particularly its FACE! 

Try out the glorious MonoFace. This goofy time killer might take awhile to load, but it’s worth the wait if you enjoy doodling with people’s faces. Simply click on the eyes, nose, mouth, and heads to change those elements into 759,375 combinations. Continue Reading
