Slowly unlocking the potential power of PearlTrees

PearlTrees is a different way to organise your web finds and favourite places. This can be done independently, or as part of a social network of people with similar interests. PearlTrees presents the information you collect from videos, blogs, and websites in “pearls” which, once collected, are automatically organized into webs, or “pearltrees,” that others can see and access.

On a teacher level alone this could be very useful. Collect useful sites, links, videos, snippets, blogs, wikis and so forth and set up a selection for other to explore, & contribute to. Continue Reading

Glastonbury 2011 and a lesson learnt

| June 29, 2011 | 0 Comments

Gorn orf to Glasto…

| June 22, 2011 | 0 Comments

Well, we may be incommunicado for a few days, as we are partaking in the annual Pilton pilgrimage, to the Glastonbury Festival.

Inevitably, as it is Glastonbury AND Wimbledon, it will rain, but, hey ho eh?

Last year was a joyous feast of sunshine, fun and fabulous music.

Two years ago, the weather was much kinder than expected, and we a had fun!

Three years ago turned into an endurance test of enjoyment, but we still had FUN!

<—We have even made the front page of the Glasto site, rolling in style in a weird contraption!

We are looking forward to SO many acts this year. But, in reality it is the “people watching sushi bar” element, seeing so many varied slices of the spice of humanity, that appeals to us most.

We will be back to taking phone calls from Tuesday 28th

Will we be diluted or sunburnt I wonder? 🙂
