Triptico – “Interactive Resources for Imaginative Teachers”

All praise to David Riley (@David_Triptico on Twitter) for creating a truly valuable set of classroom tools in Triptico IWB Toolkit… and all for FREE!
The Triptico application works on PC and Mac computers – as well as many tablet devices – and allows teachers to instantly access an ever-increasing library of customisable interactive resources.
At the moment there are 17 free tools, including simple timers and student selectors to quizzes, a Random Task Generator, scoreboards, Word Magnets and image & text spinners.
The application is free, and new resources are added regularly. Superb stuff. Give it a spin!
Phraseup*
Sometimes you know what we want to write, the sentence is nearly perfect, but you can’t figure out that elusive word. You need phraseup* which assists with writing, by suggesting possible combinations to fill-in the words you can’t remember, along with definitions, synonyms & translations to other languages.
What are you * for?
Doodle

Thank you to Claus Berg for recommending Doodle, when we were arranging times to plan our events in Denmark. Doodle is a very quick, and efficient, way of gathering arranging a time for a meeting.
Doodle eliminates the chaos that comes from scheduling and saves you a lot of time and energy when you’re trying to find a time to bring a number of people together.

Instead of using just one option, you can propose several dates and times and the participants can indicate their availability online.
Must go. I have a meeting to attend!
As well as our events, we like to share interesting, and more often than not, FREE tools, resources and ideas, some old, some new, and we hope you might find something useful. We'd love your thoughts. Tim & Sarah
