A great day at Clevedon School (and we look forward to writing this up soon). One, superb session, using iPads in an art lesson, involved creating a font, in the style of Roy Lichtenstein. (Again, more to follow on all the activities of today).

Meanwhile, how about investigating MyScriptFont, a great way to turn your own handwriting in to a useable font!

You download a pdf of a template, within which to write letters individually. Scan this in and send it up to MyScriptFont, and it converts them in to a personal glyph.

What about using this when working with children on letter formation? A real reason to WANT to polish up each letter.
