itslearning UK User Forum 2012 – Delivering a Passion for Learning

| June 12, 2012 | 0 Comments

A pleasure to present a keynote at ‘itslearning UK User Forum 2012’ at Birmingham ICC.

The focus of the forum was on delivering a passion for learning and had a focus on modern teaching styles and using technology to support and improve education.

The changing face of education in the UK, and the impact of technology on how our schools function, is leading towards the most interesting time in the online learning sector in many years, with changes in government policy, widespread use of developing teaching styles and a deep understanding of how learning platforms can support teaching and learning themes such as flipping the classroom and assessment for learning.

This event covered the broad scope of technology and learning platform use in the classroom, with presentations from leading practitioners, teachers and students looking at both UK and International collaboration.

Thank to Dylan Jones, Managing Director of itslearning UK, Alastair Cameron, Senior Learning Strategist, and Samantha Ingram, Marketing Manager, for organising our vsit to the forum.
