Kerpoof’s animated spooky stories (& more)

| October 20, 2012 | 2 Comments

Kerpoof‘s Spooky Mansion could be something to try at the eerie end to this month.

Write your own text in to moveable speech bubbles, drop characters, objects onto the scene, then get them moving.

Animating the elements, using a timeline, might act as an interesting introduction to film editing and story-boarding.

This is a free tool, from the Disney stable. There are still many other free activities on Kerpoof, such as the drawing studio, or the Make a Picture tool for more comic creation. Younger children could try the Spell a Picture game. But first, go get ghostly gruesome!
