Bywell Junior School, Dewsbury, Kirklees~Day 1

| November 5, 2012 | 7 Comments

Today, we had the pleasure of spending time with colleagues, at Bywell Junior School for their INSET Day. We were joined by staff from Earls Heaton Infant School, Shaw Cross Infant and Nursery, Chickenley Community Primary School and Boothroyd Junior and Infant School.

Everybody here today was “Up for a challenge”! As you can see, from the joyous display at the top of this post, these are people who do some remarkable, imaginative, inventive things with their pupils. The aim was to have a look at how some of the plethora of ICT ideas, and how they can, even further, enhance the curriculum, particularly in the area of writing.

A massive thank you to Shaheen Rasool, Literacy Co-ordinator, and Paul Tonner, head teacher, for inviting us to the cluster, to take these steps of exploration with their colleagues. We look forward to coming back tomorrow and exploring worlds of words with the children.
