    Hi Tim,
This looks interesting, but sadly, they are not a Safe Harbor company (yet). This would cause problems for any UK school making use of the service at the moment. 🙁

  2. Tim says:

Aha so tread/wade/sail carefully maybe but as the Safe Harbor scheme is still voluntary and self certified is it yet comprehensive and “safe”?
I value your nudge and comment and agree we need to think carefully
Is there anything about the site that concerns you?
I have to admit to not trying all of my recommendations out exhaustively
Will leave up for now but am open to suggestions if you think it wiser to remove
    Thank you again Neil

We’re COPPA compliant here in the United States and student privacy is our number 1 concern. It’s actually the reason why we haven’t integrated with Mozilla (yet), because they are not. We ask students for zero personal information and only allow teachers to input a minimum amount of info (First Name, Last Name). They’re accounts are private and any sharing done has to be by the student his or herself.

Since we’re a small startup we’re still going through all the processes for each local government.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention! 🙂

Thanks for letting us know this James
