Lausanne Learning Institute, Memphis, Tennessee ~ Day 3

| July 16, 2013 | 2 Comments

A great way to end a superb event: A final, short, keynote, with all of the delegates at the Lausanne Learning Institute in Memphis, Tennessee. – “So, go on then Tim, tell us how it ends”!

After sharing a huge, and accessible, range of ways to engage, and motivate students of all ages, and abilities, we aimed to reinforce how these elements are not only essential for quality learning experiences to take place, but how they can also have a massive impact on standards, achievement… and enjoyment.

And, as everyone had been good, I also got to tell the conclusion of our unfolding story.

This is a remarkable event, organised in great style, in a remarkable school. It was an unexpected pleasure to deliver a keynote in shorts too!

Memphis has been a delight, and we are looking forward to evening on Beale Street with everybody later.

Thanks, again, to Paige Holmes, Coordinator of Lausanne Learning Institute, and Stewart Crais, Director of Operations at Lausanne Collegiate School, for inviting us to #LLI13. A superb gathering of folk from around the world.

If anybody would like to attend an international conference, full of practical, inspiring, and a massive range of workshops, this is the one to consider.

Put the dates in your diary for next year: July 13th to 15th 2014. Well worth it.

I don’t know when I have laughed so hard as when I was listening to your presentation. You are inspiring, share your passion, and make everyone lift. That is a true gift. Thank you, too, for the fun later with you and Sarah. I have loved being with you both and wish you more fun and success as you lead other educators and inspire them as well.

May our paths cross again one day soon. Until then, safe journey.

    Hugs,
    J.
