With the saddest heart …

It is with the saddest of hearts I write this post. Tim passed away on the 30th October 2017 at the age of 54. He had the disease called adrenomyeloneuropathy (AMN).

The symptoms of the disease first showed signs when Tim was in his 30’s. There is no effective treatment for the disease. If you wish to donate to The Myelin Project, who are endeavouring to find treatments, please click here

Tim loved producing this blog and meeting so many amazing educators and children over the past years

This blog contains many inspirational ideas and resources. I am sure that Tim would love people to still refer to them.

In his famous sign off, Cheers Ta

I’m so sorry and sad to hear this news. Tim was an amazing and truely inspirational man. I came on here today to find a link to a resource he mentioned 7 years ago, in a training day. He is still having an incredible impact on the lives of teachers and children and I am sure his legacy will continue to for many years to come. I’m raising my empty coffee cup to you Tim!
Thinking of you at this sad time Sarah.

So sorry to hear the sad, sad news of Tim’s death. He was inspirational, good fun and a brave soul to boot. I first met him when he was teaching in Chew Magna and would create amazing musical shows with the children that were stomping. Although a born performer his self effacing attitude created a truly unique mix of magic for all those he worked with. As part of the SW ICT conference group it was always great to see the teachers in the audience engaging with Tim’s activities. I know you Sarah were always there beside him and I send sincere condolences to you and Tim’s family.
