St Paul’s R C Primary School - Portsmouth
Posted by: blog in Events and Training days, LinksI am covering a few hundred miles over these first few days of the new school year and, today, travelled to St Paul’s R C Primary School in Porstmouth for a fun training day.
St Pauls is a really attractive school. “Fresh” is the word that came to mind as I arrived. The new staff room is almost TOO comfortable!
It was also refreshing to start the day with some peaceful moments of reflection.
We had fun though playing through the landscapes and , today, with NO technical problems at all.
(thank you to Chay for his technical support)
The staff at St Pauls have a great sense of humour. There are a few new staff but they were very hard to spot as there was a real feeling of team spirit. That helped Cilla, herself a new colleague, navigate through the doors of doom challenge. Well done.
Well done, too, to Shane for integrating so well with his new colleagues that he conducted one of the best sound scores I have heard!

Thank you to Fran Chapman, Susie Terry and their colleagues for a really enjoyable day.
I have to admit that I am more of a words man than a numbers chap. (I took two maths tests recently, and failed three!)However, over the summer holiday, my daughter Ellie and my sister Kathleen got me in to their present obsession: Sudoku
Here is an online version that you might be able to use on a whiteboard with a whole class: websudoku
I did the Times sudoku in just three, yes, THREE …days!
I WILL FINISH AND ADD TO THIS POST, INCLUDING PICTURES, WHEN I RETURN HOME ON THURSDAY
