Segway Fun
Whilst out in Denmark for our most recent trip, we were fortunate enough have the loan of a segway… and nobody ended up knocked in to the harbour!
Thank you to Stephan Stephensen, who describes himself as “a technology and gadget freak”, and, like me, thinks the Segway is an amazing piece of equipment …and a brilliant toy too. Continue Reading

Glastonbury 2011 and a lesson learnt
Wow! What an event. Glastonbury was a total joy and a remarkable experience.
One not so sunny occurrence turned in to a real lesson learnt/learned. I would like to share that eye opener with you, just in case this might be something you hadn’t thought of.

Gorn orf to Glasto…
Well, we may be incommunicado for a few days, as we are partaking in the annual Pilton pilgrimage, to the Glastonbury Festival.
Inevitably, as it is Glastonbury AND Wimbledon, it will rain, but, hey ho eh?
Last year was a joyous feast of sunshine, fun and fabulous music.
Two years ago, the weather was much kinder than expected, and we a had fun!
Three years ago turned into an endurance test of enjoyment, but we still had FUN!
<—We have even made the front page of the Glasto site, rolling in style in a weird contraption!
We are looking forward to SO many acts this year. But, in reality it is the “people watching sushi bar” element, seeing so many varied slices of the spice of humanity, that appeals to us most.
We will be back to taking phone calls from Tuesday 28th
Will we be diluted or sunburnt I wonder?
Onwards Onwards…
Well… the blog has been very quiet for almost a month. Tut tut tut eh?!
It isn’t that there hasn’t been anything to write about. It’s actually that there has been too much.
Since our last post, at The WISE conference in Qatar, we have been really busy bunnies, including a trip to Egypt, Christmas, and preparations for a massive few weeks ahead.
WISE was a thought provoking event, and we have been busy beetling away on background work as a result of it.
There are moves to extend the online presence, and spread results and outcomes from the event itself. WATCH THIS SPACE. Continue Reading
Looking forward to some analogue time? Enjoy a breather, if you can take one…
