Tim is much in demand for seminars, conferences and training days around the country, presenting the results of his work in an inspiring, practical and often humorous way.
His use of the immersive worlds in the Myst series of games form just one part of his many innovative ideas for developing visual literacy, speaking and listening skills, writing and music in children of all abilities.
Tim has worked with authorities on extended projects - for example: to improve boys’ writing skills. He has delivered many professional development days around the U.K. including demonstration lessons for clusters of schools.
His sessions in schools involve practical hands-on experience for teachers and support staff.
“The sound of laughter as my staff tackled the challenges of film making was priceless!! Now the children are at it too!”
This year has seen Tim travelling to Leicester, Nottingham, Bristol, Seattle, London, Edinburgh, Luton, Bolton, Wakefield, Manchester, Birmingham, Cornwall, Wiltshire, Glasgow, Bexley, Newport, Oxford, Cambridge, Malaysia and Brunei to name a few.
Tim has presented seminars, keynote speeches, and workshops at such events as BETT, SETT, The Becta Expert Technology Seminars on Creativity at The British Library, the Education Show and many regional ICT conferences.
“Firstly, Tim can do it. But, importantly, he also knows how to help, motivate and guide others to do it themselves, and with great success”
